What’s the difference between DVV 1 and DVV 2 posts?

For league matches and tournaments, only beach volleyball posts with DVV 1 or DVV 2 certification are permitted. Matches in upper, regional and association leagues must be played with at least DVV 2 posts. Please observe the regulations of your regional association. For national leagues, regional leagues at top level and international competitions, DVV 1 posts are required. With DVV 1 posts, you can adjust the fully tensioned net continuously from 1.55–2.50 m – without any subsequent readjustment or re-tensioning.
