Sport-Thieme handball goal with fixed net brackets: a goal for professionals
The free-standing Sport-Thieme handball goal features a frame made of special, 80×80-mm aluminium tubing. The net brackets are made of white, powder-coated tubular steel. The corners of the frame are secured by solid, cast-aluminium connectors. The connector’s profile inserts and the counter-sunk holes in the frame tubing allow for a secure, 8-point connection per corner. This type of corner joint also solves the problem of welded seams breaking, as the goal doesn’t feature a welded mitre joint and instead features a strong, cast-aluminium connector. In addition, the goal frame is reinforced by large plates on the back. These plates simultaneously connect the goal frame with the net bracket and create an extremely torsion-resistant construction. The IHF-approved version is also used in the Handball Bundesliga. The IHF-approved variant is also used in the Handball Bundesliga.
