The "Blue-End" support end piece is made of plastic and caps off the ends of the Sport-Thieme "Competition" high jump crossbar. An end piece is located on both ends of the crossbar, allowing the bar to be positioned on the crossbar supports in accordance with the rules. If you need to replace an end piece, simply push the new one onto the crossbar.
