The waistcoat includes denim buttons and the lime-green shirt is buttoned up. Geritt is easy to play with: there is a hole on the back of his head for you to put your hand through and move his mouth. You can also control his tongue with your fingers. Designed to be played with by children and adults. Play with both of the puppet's hands, each with 5 fingers, to pick up objects, wave, leaf through a book and bring the puppet to life.

- It is important to make eye contact with your puppet and have your puppet make eye contact with your audience
- Practice with your puppet in front of your mirror so you can follow your movements accurately
- React to your puppet and treat it as if it were alive
- Have confidence with your puppet and in your abilities first before presenting to your audience
- Try having your puppet whisper in your ear at first instead of having it speak out loud straight away
