The Sport-Thieme "evo1" Padel racquet has a teardrop-shaped head – the precursor to the diamond-shaped head used by professionals. Teardrop-shaped racquets feature a central centre of gravity, providing the racquet with great balance and offering the player great racquet control. Due to a particularly large sweet spot, the racquet’s vibration at ball contact is low – allowing for the best possible precision. The large sweet spot as well as the racquet’s EVA inner also makes the strokes more powerful. Thanks to the carbon-fibre frame and surface, the racquet is lightweight yet strong.
