Sport-Thieme “PU Tennis Ball” Soft Foam Ball

Sport-Thieme PU-coated tennis foam ball – for a gentle start
Thos Sport-Thieme tennis ball is made of soft foam and has a PU skin, making it ideal for training sessions with beginners and people with disabilities as there is no risk of injury from wayward shots. What’s more, players have more time to react and optimise their technique thanks to the foam ball’s slow flight. The ball also exhibits great bounce, ensuring games are fluid and dynamic. In therapy, the easy-to-squeeze ball is popular for training fine motor function and improving grip strength. It's an excellent stress ball, too. In contrast to a regular tennis ball, this model can easily be cleaned with water (thanks to its smooth surface). To ensure a long lifespan, the ball is best used indoors or on grass, but not on tarmac.

Learning a new ball game can be fun and easy
Sport-Thieme PU-coated foam balls are available for various sports. They make it easier for children and beginners to be introduced to a new sport. When familiarising novices with a new game, it is important that they first learn the basics and the rules. Foam balls are great for this as the soft material takes away any fears the players may have with regards to getting hurt. This may sound trivial but should not be underestimated, as – particularly at the beginning – it is not uncommon for novices to get hit by the ball. Using this foam tennis ball, nobody will get hurt when a ball accidentally hits any part of the body – allowing beginners to enjoy the game right from the start.

Whether used in a school, club, therapy facility or any other establishment, this ball is a great alternative to a conventional tennis ball and has many advantages. See for yourself and order your Sport-Thieme PU-coated tennis foam ball now.
