The Sport-Thieme "Special" gymnastics mat: strong mats for schools and clubs The Sport-Thieme "Special" gymnastics mat is an extremely soft yet durable mat for floor and gymnastics exercises. It has a hard-wearing mat core made from composite foam and yet provides enough spring for floor exercises. The cover is available in either the classic, textured gymnastics mat material or smooth Polygrip mat material with a grain effect. Its angular shape means that several mats can be placed together to create a large gymnastics area. The gymnastics mats can also be used to create fun games in PE lessons. On request, Sport-Thieme "Special" gymnastics mats can be supplied with additional hook-and-loop corners for attaching several mats. Leather corners and/or carry handles can also be added.
