It consists of 2 layers: an extra thin fibre fleece, measuring just 7/1,000 of a silk fibre, covered by a 70-μm-thin polyurethane film. This coating is much thinner than that of conventional volleyballs and allows for better handling of the ball. Thanks to its no-leak-bladder made of butyl rubber, this competition volleyball boasts excellent elasticity, even at extreme temperatures, and is almost 100% air and watertight.
